How do you learn how to decoupage?
What types of art supplies might a person need to do this?

If you want to get fancy, you can cut out the same image 3 times and layer it with that one glue that smells like vinegar and make it 3D.

Good luck but more then anything, just have fun…..cause it really is !!!!
PS You may want to look into ATC ( artist trading cards ) do a google search and you can see a lot of ideas that combine collage, rubber stamping and all sorts of mediums !?!

I like to buy those books with Victorian images you can cut out. I buy cardboard or wood boxes at Michaels's, paint the surface, let it dry, apply decoupage glue to the backs of the images, apply them to the surfaces and then apply several coats of decoupage glue over, sanding between layers to keep a smooth surface. I don't sand last coat.
