How to remove decoupage that was applied on with glue?

I saw a DIY that you could decoupage with regular old elmers glue. I live in an apartment and god knows when I'll be moving again, so I need something that will remove easily.

I want to decoupage my desktop. Can I just use polyurethane over the paper or do I HAVE to use the mod-podge?

Oil-based polyurethane will do a lot of yellowing. You are better off going with a water-borne acrylic (many of which are sold as “water based polyurethane” — go figure). Read the rest of this entry
